- The Shimano XT derailleur (12-speed) paired with a Deore cassette (10–51T) ensures smooth and precise gear changes.
- The included Bosch 2A charger takes a relatively long time to charge the 800 Wh battery; bear in mind that you will not be able to use it for a while if you have run it completely flat.

This Kathmandu Hybrid Pro is the model featuring higher-spec components within the hardtail range of the Kathmandu line-up: an air-suspension RockShox fork, a colour display with navigation, and a frame lock with a keyed-alike battery lock. Compared to the entry-level model, the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid One, this Pro model therefore offers greater comfort and ease of use.
Bosch Performance Line CX motor up to 120 Nm
This motor (BDU38) works in conjunction with the Bosch Kiox 500 colour display with navigation function; you can see your route, speed, assist mode and range at a glance.
RockShox Recon Silver RL Air fork
This air-suspension fork (100 mm) can be adjusted to suit your weight and riding style, and offers more damping and control than an entry-level fork on uneven roads and off-road trails.
Frame lock with key-matched battery lock
The frame lock uses the same key as the battery lock so you don’t have to juggle multiple keys – just one key for both your bike and your battery.

- The Bosch PowerTube 800 battery is removable for charging away from the bike.
- The Shimano Deore cassette (CS-M6100, 10-51T) is a Shimano HyperGlide component; a replacement HG cassette or chain with the same range will fit here without any issues.
- The UDH derailleur hanger has a non-brand-specific design; if damaged, it can quickly be replaced almost anywhere.
- The ACID Integrated Carrier 3.0 CSR luggage rack is compatible with the CUBE adapter system and most standard panniers.
Not compatible with
- Child seats that clamp round the seat post – these may interfere with the integrated seat clamp. If in doubt, choose a seat with luggage rack mounting.

- Charge the battery before your first ride: As the Bosch 2A charger takes longer to fully charge the battery than a faster charger, we recommend allowing plenty of time for this.
- Check your tyre pressure regularly: You will find the correct pressure printed on the sidewalls of the Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency tyres.
- Have the fork serviced annually to ensure the suspension continues to operate smoothly.
- If you will not be using the bike away for a while, store the battery at around 50% charge, which is best for its lifespan.
Does the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro e-bike come with a lock?
Yes, the Kathmandu Hybrid Pro comes with a frame lock and a keyed-alike battery lock. This means you can unlock both your bike and your battery with the same key.
What is the difference between the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro and the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid One models?
The current Hybrid Pro version features the air-suspension RockShox Recon Silver RL fork instead of an entry-level fork, the Bosch Kiox 500 colour display with navigation instead of a compact display, and a brighter front light. Both are hardtail models with the same Bosch CX motor and 800 Wh battery. Are you looking for highest comfort and ease of use? Choose the Pro. Looking for the more budget-friendly model? Choose the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid One.
Can I replace the cassette on the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro e-bike with one with a different gear range?
Yes, the Kathmandu Hybrid Pro uses a Shimano Deore cassette (CS-M6100, 10-51T), a standard HyperGlide component. You can simply replace it with another HG-compatible cassette with the same gear range.
Does the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro e-bike have rear suspension or a dropper post?
No, the Kathmandu Hybrid Pro has a hardtail frame with front suspension (RockShox Recon Silver RL Air, 100 mm) and a suspension seatpost. If you are also looking for rear suspension and a dropper post for more comfort on off-road terrain, a Kathmandu Hybrid ONE11 model would be a better fit for you.
What is the maximum weight the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro e-bike can carry?
The Kathmandu Hybrid Pro has a maximum rider weight of 120 kg. If you include your luggage and accessories, the total system weight (bike + rider + load) may be up to 150 kg.
